Let’s Get Baking!

Preheat the oven to 180’c. Sift the cake flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together and add the sugars. Combine the oil, Nestle ideal milk and eggs in another bowl and mix well.

Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix. Then fold in the carrots, pineapple and vanilla.

Spoon or pipe the mixture into a greased donut pan, filling each donut round.

Bake for 16-18 minutes or until a toothpick is inserted and comes out clean. Allow to cool on a wire rack.

To make the frosting beat the cream cheese and butter using a handheld mixer until smooth. Then sift in the icing sugar. Then slowly add the Nestle ideal milk until desired texture is achieved. It should be pourable.

Place the donuts on the wire rack over a tray (this will catch the frosting that runs off). Pour the frosting over the donuts and allow to set at room temperature. Lastly drizzle Nestle caramel treat over or spoon over the donuts and decorate as desired.
